Position: Technical Project Manager

The opportunity:

As a project manager, you will manage and oversee all aspects of multiple enterprise technology projects to ensure they are completed on-time and within budget. You will have the overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing (non-HR) and outside vendors (as applicable), and contractual deliverable. You will be required to prepare reports for CSVP regarding status of project. You must possess strong knowledge of technology. This position demands strong organizational skills and problem-solving expertise, while working with current technologies, and managing team dynamics. Excellent project management skills, team orientation, flexibility, innovative thinking, and self-motivation are required for success. This role crosses all processes and phases of the project management lifecycle using multiple project management methodologies such as waterfall and agile. You will work with all levels of the client’s organization including stakeholders through end users.

Your day-to-day:

  • Serve as primary project point of contact and partner with key personnel to plan, develop, manage, and implement projects
  • Learn and understand the SkySync tool as applicable to responsibilities
  • Participate in presales calls to drive revenue
  • Drive upsell opportunities for current clients
  • Review and develop Statements of Work, RFPs under the guidance of CSVP
  • Identification and management of risks, mitigations strategies, plan activities, dependencies, escalation channels, budget, and detailed project documentation
  • Resolve project issues to meet productivity and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure the project team members and stakeholders feel valued. Complete regular 1:1 meetings with key stakeholders and foster a culture of shared success
  • Drive, support, and promote best practices, and development of project management tools, techniques, and methodologies within the Client Solutions team
  • Understand and manage scope, taking appropriate action when requests have the potential to impact original scope

What you should have:

  • 3 years of IT Project Management experience including professional services experience
  • Detail-oriented personality
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Adaptability under stress / adversity
  • Solid work ethic
  • Demonstrate a desire to learn new technologies
